Ok ever sense I started wearing my hair natural my parents and grandmother has been giving me problems. Most of the time I wear my hair in a curly afro. According to my grandma this is not a hair style. She says my hair looks uncombed. Then both her and my dad happend to think that all my hair is going to fall out. Then there my mom who keep asking me when I am going to relax my hair again. My family just won't let me live my life and wear my hair the way I like. I'm sick of this, so i'm thinking of just going to the barber and telling him to chop all my hair off short like boys wear their hair. Has anyone else had problems like this? What should I do? Should I just cut it all off?

actually your hair is healthier without a relaxer so don't worry about it just keep it moisturized

well, if you really like your hair like that leave it. if you wanna do the boy cute thing i actually think that wouldnt look so bad. i like boy cut hair especially on african-american women. i think it looks incredible.

I would just ignore your grandma because that's how your hair naturally grows and i think you should keep your hair how it is unless you are looking for a new look but never go for the boy cut trust me on that.

i think you should listen to your family. sorry but when hair isn't permed it does looked uncombed. whatever u do dont cut it off! it isn't that hard to get a perm. unless u wanna use a hot comb. lol.
