my hair is 3-4 inches long and straight i want some defined curl with a perm but not sure what size rods to use someone suggested white or purple how big would the curl be also maybe a good web site to look at so i could take a picture with me to the hair dresser

A combination of both rods would be nice..Have them trim it shorter in the back, like a asymetrical bob, then perm it. You can either scrunch it, or blowdry it..The bigger rods will give you fuller hair..Just noticed your a guy, so dont cut it..
