Would mousse work on my hair?

ok so i have curly hair.

sometimes i straighten it.

other times i put curling gel in it to make sure th dont get friz and to make the big ringlettes.

lately ive been wanting more lose curls almost wavy.

i know gel wont work with my hair if i want this style.

but i was wondering if mousse would.

(my firned uses it but her hair is not as curly as mine.)

i dont want to by the mousse if its not going to work.

please help.

no its not gunna work. i have really curly hair and when i put mousse, it just gets bigger and curlier. if you want you can try it cuz everyones hair responds different to different things, but it makes my curls tight curly, not loose. so i wouldnt if i were you
