Could anybody give me tips on how to keep hair straightened in very humid weather?

I have very thick, wavy, poofy, damaged, dry, dyed hair. It gets curlier towards the front. I have a very expensive ceramic flatiron, and it works WONDERFULLY....except after winter's over. I can straighten it for almost two hours to get it perfect, but it starts to grow and forms random curls in about 30 minutes. It looks absolutely ridiculous.

Even when I put it up and hairspray it in place, random hairs pop out as they curl, and the ponytail starts puffing out until it's just a big ball of friz.

A lot of people try to say, "Work with the curl!" I'd be willing to try curly hair - the problem is, curls would revert to frizz-waves faster than straightened hair. To curl my hair, you'd have to straighten it first just to tame it.

BTW: I deep condition every week, and use Biolage hydrating shampoo and conditioner. I've tried several 'cuticle sealers' and 'smoothers' and they don't seem to do anything at all.

Also, I'm too scared to try a permanent relaxer.

HELP ME PLEASE!

Aussie Anti-Humidity hairspray. It works WONDERFULLY. Either spray it on your brush and completely brush through, or just mist it on your hair, THEN comb through. Trust me. Today, it was MISTING (you know, when it rains lightly) and I used that, and my hair stayed so straight. I swear by that stuff. And it's only about 3-4 dollars at Target for a bottle that lasted ME a semester in school. And I use a LOT on a daily basis.
