Did my hair stylist cross the line?

Today when getting my hair done together with a friend, we were joking around but my hair stylist took it a bit far I think, she sprayed some styling gel on me as a joke. It got on my diamond ring and in my coffee cup which I'm sure wasn't intended but all the same, it was kinda taking it a big far don't you think? We were all joking in conversation about this particular product and I said I didn't like it, she did and then she did that to me. I was angry/upset but let it go. Still I wonder if I was wrong to say I was upset or if I should have just laughed it off. Thing is; I don't want that kind of thing to happen again.... your thoughts?

Did my hair stylist cross the line?

Regardless of what I think - you have two options here

1) Get over it

2) Get a new hairdresser

Coz telling her, means she'll be annoyed at you - and I doubt you'll have a good haircut after that

Did my hair stylist cross the line?

I wouldn't be too upset about it.

Botox, Restylane, Laser Hair Remova; would you say I need it for my job?

I'm 26, and I represent a company. My job is pretty much being a salesman for a big company. I'm always making calls, and going places to do presentations and offer our services.

I look up a to this really successful salesman, I want to be as good as he is.

He's 33, but he looks like a guy in his early twenties.

He tells me all of this things to do to be successful salesman.

-You need to loom good in your clothes, so you need to be in shape. He spends a lot of time at the gym.

-You always have to look alert, so he's had lipo on his eyebags, and injects restylane.

-You have to look young, so he has botox, and has had face-peels.

-You point with your fingers, they have to look perfect so he gets manicures, and has had permanent hair removal on his hands.

I've had eye-bag lipo, and the hair removal on my hands. I use moisturizers on my face. I haven't done the other stuff.

Do you think this is really necessary to be a good salesman?

Botox, Restylane, Laser Hair Remova; would you say I need it for my job?

i do think you need to look good, i was a sales person for a long time and appearance and 1st impressions are EVERYTHING ! they are going to remember you as they saw you the 1st time. i wouldnt say you need to get everything, just look good in appearance wear nice clothing, wear it right, make sure your hair is always nice and professional looking and get manicure if you use your hands! you dont have to look young, in fact most people want to be sold to an older person rather younger, they feel older has more intelligence and more respectful and not just looking to make money! good luck with the job tho!

Wedding hair?

I've looked at all the big wedding site ( theknot.com etc) and can't seem to find the hairstyle i like. I want my hair down and curly...maybe even half up half down. does anyone have any other sites to suggest of pic they can send me of this style. ...bc i just can't seem to find anything.

Wedding hair?

I cant get it to pull up with the picture already there but I LOVE this style I'm thinking about using it myself

www.signaturebrides.net

go to the gallery...then you only have to hit next one time..its the only style on that page with half up half down...its the bottom one in the left column..it think its REALLY cute....good luck in finding your perfect style!

Wedding hair?

Look on beautyriot.com They have amazing hairstyles. Here's on ethat's curly and half up/half down

http://www.beautyriot.com/article.php?id...

Look around. They have a wavy category, updos, anything you like.

Wedding hair?

I know, I had the hardest time finding a picture of the hairstyle I wanted...Try googling "Informal hairstyles" under images...Look at celebrity hairstyles...Jessica Simpson has had some pictures taken of her when her hair was down and curly...very pretty...I ended up just going home one night and fixing my hair the way I wanted it...then I took pictures of it...Voila! Good luck!!

Wedding hair?

it's hard picking hair styles from a website. it might look great on that person, but wrong on you and your dress choice. i would go to a salon and ask them to do several different styles, a test run before the wedding.

Wedding hair?

Talk to your hairdresser! He or she will be able to help you to find the style that's right for you. Go in at least a week before the wedding for your consultation, and they will do a trial run for your hair (and makeup, if you are having it done). This will give both you and your hairdresser time to make any necessary adjustments to make sure you are at your most stunning on your wedding day.

Congrats!

Wedding hair?

Find a stylist that you can trust and do some trial runs on fixing your hair. They may be able to help you the best since you will be able to see it on you.

Wedding hair?

go to google.com then click on images then type in wedding hair and click enter. you should get a lot of pictures to look at. i also have a lot saved on my comp because that is what i want for my hairstyle to. so if you need any i can email them to you?

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

backcomb the top of it and hairspray the roots, should stay like that!

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

tease it. if you dint know what that means then ask your mom she should know. my mom did

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

ok you have to get a bunch of layers on the bottom then straighten it.... and for the top you have to cut into shorter peices then strand by strand spray peices on the top with hair spray and yeah.

-chels%26lt;3

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

i love her hair but use alot of hair spray!

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

you need to tease it a ton and then use hairspray to make it stiff. also try not to condition the top layers it will just weigh your hair down.

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

hairspray and back combing.

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

its really just a layered cut through long hair ...the style is achieved by using products in the hair such as mousse or gel and then rough dryed on a high heat hairdryer

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

I did this hair once and it turned out great first choose the section u want 2 "poof" , then put that in 3 section (1 farthest 2 back, middle then front ) with the farthest one comb it but the wrong way (down) then do this 2 the one in the middle. take the front section, put it over the other and then pin it. I wish I could do it 4 u online but I can't hope this helps

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

Straighten the bottom, then backcomb the top.

Yeah I like It, not my look but it's nice :)

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

first u have to cut your hair into layers so

that it will make ur hair look full and think

at the top and around ur head%26amp;shoulders.

then, u get long hair extentions for the ends.

after that, u tease and brush ur layerd real

hair back and forth to give it that "poof" look.

hairspray works great. u can look up

how to do those hairstyles on youtube.com :D

How can i stop my hair from doing this?

I have normal hair but the thing is that their just below my neck unfortunately they curve in at the bottom and kinda makes it look weird like its straight from the top until my ear and then there is a BIG curve it looks really bad... i can straighten them and fix that but i want my hair to look like this:

http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h96/ch...

http://www.thehiltonfiles.com/wp-content...

^the girl with black hair (nicole richie)

How can i do this? i am growing my hair but for the time being how can i make it so it looks like that and not sticks together or goes curvy and stupid on the ends?

How can i stop my hair from doing this?

You could buy ceramic hair straighteners. A lot of girls are using them at the moment (I don't currently have any, although I am thinking of getting some). You could search Yahoo! Answers for them. Others have posted links with the brands that they find are best and instructions on how to use them.

I'm sure it is how the Olsen twins get that look (in the photobucket image you posted). Instead of using them just as a straightner you can wrap your hair around them to create curls.

Charles worthington dream hair?

Hi I just wanted to know if the Charles worthington dream hair range was any good. The reason I am asking this is because I had my hair bleached in december and now it has become very dry and is falling out in big clumps. I am very worried and really don't want to have it all cut off. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

Charles worthington dream hair?

I use the Dream Hair range for curly hair and find it really good. However, if your hair is particularly dry, I would recommend that you get some really good conditioning treatments. I have a brazil nut one from the Body Shop that you actually leave in overnight which is really good. Hope it works out for you.

Charles worthington dream hair?

i've used it before.. it is pretty good. you should also get some hot oil treatment for your hair. it really helps to moisturize it and make it healty.

Charles worthington dream hair?

Yes try it I found it was really good xx

What should i do with my hair?

My hair has been bothering me lately. It is blonde and wavy. sometimes it gets kind of frizzy. It i keep it down, it gets really big. Because of this, I usually wear it pulled back into a ponytail. I often take showers in the morning and then my hair is all wet for school.

I have tried to scrunch my hair. It doesn't work. My straightener doesn't work very well on my long, thick hair, and it always takes forever. I was thinking about asking for a better straightener for Christmas. so basically, i was thinking about cutting my hair so that it's just a few inches past my shoulders so that it is much easier to work with. does anyone have any input? pictures would be great. Thanks!

What should i do with my hair?

girl dont. u sound exactly like me a week ago it was totally unmanagable i figured then wats the point of having it lol. now my hair is short %26amp; it looks ugly, still unmanagable, its not like the cut changed the actual quality of my hair. so now .. im just back to keeping it up every day. like u said.. i think the best solution is a better straightener.. dont cut it. i miss my hairrrrr =(

What should i do with my hair?

Shave your head.

What should i do with my hair?

why dont you try anti-frizz stuff?

straightening doesn't always work well at getting rid of frizz.

why don't you hav lots of layers cut into it to thin it out.

if you're getting it cut - ASK YOUR HAIRDRESSER - they always know best.

What should i do with my hair?

you can always get weave but i'll say dye your hair chocolate brown it's sexy guys get attarcked to it. cut your hair to shoulder length and get bangs hottie can i say

What should i do with my hair?

i wouldnt cut it past my shoulders because that would make it even worse because my friend had the same problem maybe u could get it layered but still keep it at least medium length

What should i do with my hair?

yes get a good one thats not cheap get it at a salon or somehitn or get the CHI. also cutting your hair will make it easier for you to straighten it

What should i do with my hair?

ya you could cut it but then it might puff out worse.

the better straighteners are worth the price and remember to straighten your hair in layers

What should i do with my hair?

Go let it be thinned or layered. you can work a straightener better then.Idon't think you shoud l get it cut cause i won't slovethe frizzy problem.

What should i do with my hair?

Don't chop it off, that'll make it curlier and frizzier. Go talk to a prof, about their thoughts of chemically straightening it. Or get a cut that this out your hair so your straightener will work better.

Go get your hair cut at a upscalr salon, don't go to a chain, they will probably make the sit worse.

What should i do with my hair?

Get a straightener. I had that problem too. Go to Sally's Beauty Salon. Get the Curl master. It's great!

Go to http://www.sallybeauty.com/curlmaster-ce...

Hair dye trouble!?

Well i tryed highligting my hair blonde out of a box and that did not go so well.. instead of blonde theyre like the color musturd and instead of highlights its just big ugly blotches. im going to the salon tommorow to get it fixed but what should i do with it?

Hair dye trouble!?

I did the same thing last year!

I went to the hairdresser the next day and hid till then!

The hairdresser suggested that I put on a semi-perminent and take it from there. I had to go darker than it was originally though to cover it up.

When the semi perminent had kind of worn off (If you can explain it like that!) I put a lot of blonde highlights to cover it up.

Don't worry because Now my hair is a really nice colour and I love it!

In future though I would stick to getting hair done at the salon. That's what i'm doing!

Good luck!

Hair dye trouble!?

you could either have some more professional highlights in to cover up the other ones of alternatively have the mustard colour disguised with a darker coloured tint.depends on the condition of your hair.after this though you will have to have it cut regularly and condition it a lot

Hair dye trouble!?

Hair Color Disasters: How To Recover

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-gnA4Lmo_b...

Hair dye trouble!?

well, first of all never dye if it isn't the certain streak dye. Second of all never use any other brand beside Revlon or l'oreal. Third of dyeing your bed blonder is a total mishap . Let the salon person do it all you'll be sure to never have a hair dye trouble.

I hope i helped!

Hair dye trouble!?

Well for now you can try putting it in a funky updo, or try wrapping it in a fashionable scarf, since you are getting it fixed tomorrow, its all good. I have done the same thing, I put on a baseball cap....lol. Good luck %26lt;3.

Hair dye trouble!?

Don't go to the salon just yet. Go to Walmart and get a bottle of "Clairol Toner." Get an Ash blonde or something to get that yellow out. You just comb through your hair after you wash and towel dry. It will take the mustard color out. It may not be as light as you want. If it was mustard when you stopped the lightening process, you stopped too soon. It should have been the color of spaghetti. Then use a toner. Try it today. It may save you from getting the sermon at the salon that you shouldn't do it yourself!

Help with my stupid hair?

My hair is big becsuse it's very thick and and WAY curly. I want it at least wavy and not poofy. It would be great to have it straight. Any tips?

Help with my stupid hair?

Try Matrix hair straightening (have it done at a hair salon)... it lasts you about four months and beyond. It makes life much easier... you wake up in the morning and all you have to do is comb it.

Help with my stupid hair?

you need some kind of smoothing product for your hair. i have super wavy and THICK hair. and if i'm not careful can get pretty frizzy if i don't put product in after i shower. For me i use vo5 smoothing suffle (its a red tube) or the new products by Herbal Essence works pretty well.

Help with my stupid hair?

my hair is the same way i either wash it at night put moose in it and put it in a bun over nite and take it out and finish drying it with a diffuser or when i do it straight i use a flat iron straightener and do small sections at a time

Help with my stupid hair?

I had the same prob and I had it chemically relaxed. I do not have "wash and go" hair and never will, but it has cut down on styling time and does not puff out in humidity. I am able to get my hair perfectly straight and it stays that way until the nexy wash. The process was not very expensive (around $125) and should last 6 months (I have has it for 3 and it is still working well). You MUST take good care of your hair or it will become damaged from the chemicals and heat styling. I recommend Frederik Fekkai protein rx shampoo and conditioner and fekkai glossing creme to style. Use a professional hairdryer and ionic flatiron. I am also highlighted and have not had a problem with damage. Good luck!

Help with my stupid hair?

Use a Ceramic straightening iron. Avoid brushing hair, just let it dry, probably upside down, maybe use a blow dryer with a "diffuser" attachment.

Help with my stupid hair?

My hair is thick , i just had some layers put in , that start at my chin and down also you can blow dry with big round brush and then use a hot iron or after wash put in big curlers your hair will dry less curly

If there is a difference between home & salon hair color solutions, what is the difference speci

And should I start using home hair color kits after my hair being professionally done for 10 years or so. I need to save money big time but I still have to look professional for work.

If I can use home colour which brand?

Would it be a good idea to buy salon colour at a supply store and use that at home?

If there is a difference between home %26amp; salon hair color solutions, what is the difference specifically?

I guess it all depends on how your hair has been colored. If you've got highlights, or you are maintaining an unnatural shade of blonde (for you, anyway), your best bet is to stick with your stylist, and maybe see her less often, or ask her to refer you to someone who might charge less. (Hehe, yeah right. I'm sure if you had the nerve to ask her for a referral to a less expensive salon, that would MAKE HER DAY! LOL)

If you're just getting a regular dye or something, you might be able to take that up at home, or have a friend/relative help you maintain your color at home.

The difference between home and salon hair color solutions is the fact that home kits are a lot more risky due to operator error, and inconsistencies and dye lots among the products themselves. I mean, who is to say how long that kit has been sitting on the shelf when you purchased it? What if it sat so long that ti's not true to the color the box is advertising? There is also a HUGE margin for error. Mistakes can happen when you dye your hair at home, and you might not be pleased with the final outcome.

I have a friend who wanted to add some color to her own naturally beautiful auburn colored hair. She got herself a burgandy hair dying kit at the drugstore, and the next time I saw her, she was VERY upset about the outcome of her home hair dying attempt. Apparently she left the dye in too long, or screwed up on mixing the developer or something, because her hair was NOT burgandy. It was more like Ronald McDonald red, now that I think of it... Anyway, there are lots of things to take into consideration when you are thinking about dying your hair at home, like, which brand are you going to use, and stick with no matter what? I imagine that you must have some sort of consistent physical appearance to maintain, otherwise you wouldn't be asking about this. Clearly your appearance is important in your line of work. Do you believe it's wise to take chances with your professinal appearance? That's something else to think about. Then you've got to figure out what level (permanent, semi-permanent) of product you want to use. How long does the box say it will last. (After a few times of doing it yourself, you may discover that it doesn't last as long as the manufacturer claims...)

Which brings me to getting your hair colored in the salon. Most stylists don't use over-the-counter hair dying kits. They mix the developer and dye solution on the spot for the customer. Some salons even do custom colors, or will do their best to match your natural hair color and its individual nuances as closely as they can. I've found that salon color jobs last a lot longer, they're less stressful, and are far more consistent in terms of final results as opposed to the home kits. I'm just being honest here, I'm not a licensed stylist or anything... That's just my own personal observation. I think the duration of the dye has something to do with the quality and strength of the chemicals they use in the salons versus what they're allowed to sell on the shelves at the drugstore. Also, she can see what she's doing to your hair, as it's being colored. That's pretty important, when you think about dye staining your skin around your hair and neckline. What if you can't get that off before you have to be at work? What will you do then?

if you know a thing or two about chemistry and mixing hair dye without causing an explosion, by all means, buy the stuff at the beauty supply house, and get ta coloring your locks! I don't know if you're aware of this, but every licensed stylist must complete a pretty comprehensive chemistry requesite prior to getting licensed and hired and stuff. Mixing chemicals is no joke. A home kit can blow up on you if you're not careful and don't read the instructions thoroughly.

*sigh* I guess you will do whatever is most convenient and easy for you. I can't tell you what to do. All I can do is offer some different points of view and hope you think about them before you make your final decision.

I do have one last suggestion for you regarding this matter thoug, and it might turn out to be a good one, or it could end up being a total nightmare. If there is a beauty college somewhere in or near your community, maybe you could see your regular stylist every two months or whatever, and if you needed something done between visits with her, you could go and have that taken care of at the beauty college. You wouldn't believe how much money you could save if you helped the students at the beauty college get some on the job training, here and there! Sheesh, you might even be able to get your hair done, and a full set--all for less than what your personal stylist would have charged you just for the dye!

It's something to think about. I hope you get it all figured out. Be well, and take care. =)

If there is a difference between home %26amp; salon hair color solutions, what is the difference specifically?

Always go to Sally's Beauty Supply for stuff that you can use.

My mom has NEVER gotten her hair done at a salon ((for coloring)) she ALWAYS does it herself. And the products are ALWAYS from Sallys.

http://www.sallybeauty.com/

If there is a difference between home %26amp; salon hair color solutions, what is the difference specifically?

Really, it depends on what you expect to get out of it. The pigments in home color kits are usually less intense and/or formulas not as long-lasting. Also, if you already have professionnally colored hair and it's not one color---you will not be able to duplicate the foil/lifting process on your own. An at home color can be great as long as you know what you're getting yourself into. Additionally, if you are dark-haired, the difference will be less dramatic. If you are trying to bleach-I would strongly discourage you from trying it at home without assistance. If I ever color my hair on my own, I get better results going to a beauty supply and purchasing salon grade color and peroxide, and mixing them myself at home. Don't forget to buy color shampoo! It will truly extend the life of your color.

If there is a difference between home %26amp; salon hair color solutions, what is the difference specifically?

The biggest difference to me is that you have control over which level of developer is used. The developer is the cream that is mixed with the color. The different numbers on the developer represent the amount of active ingredients in the cream.

If there is a difference between home %26amp; salon hair color solutions, what is the difference specifically?

It would only be okay if you were just starting to color your hair, or you had let it grow out. Can you do that? After 10 years, it might be a good idea to give your hair a rest anyhow. There are some really good natural hair colors on the market - and have you tried a semi-permanent color? I love those because they fade out gently so that you don't have roots or a line of demarcation.

It would not be a good idea to buy a professional product to use at home, and besides, you have to have a hair dressing # to do that.

If there is a difference between home %26amp; salon hair color solutions, what is the difference specifically?

The difference between the salon and home is custom color.Color in the store is more general where the salon is customized. There are some good little hints to know if you are going to do it yourself.1.Your natural color level.1 is black and 10 is white blond. Most people are a 5 medium brown. That is why we get our hair done.Who wants to be medium brown right?

Your stylist will tell you your natural level.

OK so lets say you are a 5.When you look at boxes in the store they have a #.Next is tone.B for blond,R for red,A for ash and so on.You will see A code on the box 5r lets say. This color is the same shade as your hair but is red not brown. It is pretty easy. You will see when you go shopping.OK rules.Never color your own hair.LOL just kidding.Never choose a # more than 1 shade lighter or darker. This give a you 4-6.If you have highlights or bleach work in your hair already these areas take color three times greater than the rest of your hair.If there is an R on the box and you have high lights they will be hot pink.No joke!Ash will make your hair green. So you go and find nice Nutmeg and it says 5br.This is medium reddish brown. There is red in it.Does it work for you?So you find a 4gb.This is 1 shade darker and golden brown.Good if you have highlights.See,not so hard. You can do your hair at home and a good stylist will share her info so that you can make the right choice for you.

PS Sally's is awesome.(gold is warm and ash is cool)

How much hair do women like?

I shave upper body and my balls. I was wondering do girls like the legs and buttocks of men shaved as well?

I have recently grown a small beard as well and it looks pretty good onme because I kind of have a big round head . I kind of look like Chuck Norris or Tom Petty with a beard but how much hair should a Justin Timberlake kind of guy have?

How much hair do women like?

girls all have different tastes, shave what makes you comfortable. If a girl is that superficial that she judges you on how much hair you have/don't have - shes not worth it honey.

How much hair do women like?

just hair up yer nose would do me

How much hair do women like?

no, arm pitts, arms or leg hair. preferred method waxing!

shave privates and even maybe armpits.

- No bum hair or back hair, nothing scarey like that!!

maybe very little chest hair or none preferably.

Justin timberlake guys wax full chest hair, which is the best! ( :

groomed face, eyebrows and eyelashes are good! ( :

- dont listen to the hairy guys. (seriously, you know what your doing.)

How much hair do women like?

Yeah Yeah go on shave the hair on your legs and buttocks and while your at it the soles of your feet!

Wot no hair there? OK shave your ar se then. Ha!

How much hair do women like?

strange person

How much hair do women like?

shaving legs is for girls

i like the natural look. hairy is good. it means you're a real man.

How much hair do women like?

u sad man.... get a grip.

How much hair do women like?

I agree with Kara. A man should look like a man. I wouldnt look twice at a guy who shaves where he shouldnt, just the face will do. Men who shave look like pretty boys. The hairier the better i say.

How much hair do women like?

shave every hair

How much hair do women like?

so long as theres no rug under ur top u should be ok!!

How much hair do women like?

armpits are fine with hair also a bit on the chest back hair is ugly it makes men look like gorillas ,butt hair no way it horrible, leg hair is ok as long as it not like a carpet,an a trim on your private parts is cool shows you look after yourself ,a small beard is sound just make sure you shampoo it over wise it will smell ,an for Justin Timberlake he well goes to a salon as has his hair trimmed so i would say not loads of hair .

How much hair do women like?

You have a big round head???

Personally i think if thats the case you shouldnt be worrying about body hair mate coz if you got a big round head you aint gonna get laid anyway lmao!

Big fore head problem help?

Hi I have curly hair and it's a down cut bevcause thats how my family likes my hair so I can't make it straight to cover my forhead with bangs. I've read most of the big forehead questions but none of the solutions can help me because I can't cover it. Since I was a kid people use to make fun of my forehead but they also thought I was goodlooking but now puberty has messed my face up and sunburn has made me darker so now I don't have anything. I tried to cover this by making my body look nicer and becoming stronger to gain recongzition instead of the big forhead kid. It's getting to hard to go out side everyday and when I comeback and see myself in the mirror I get sad. I know their is a reason God made everyone different but why did he make me like this or was it my fault? What do I do?

Big fore head problem help?

The only thing you can do is to try out different hairstyles and try wearing hats. But hey, if people are going to judge you because of the size of your forehead, then they are just shallow and ignorant. You don't need them, you're better than that. And you didn't "do anything" wrong to be born with a big forehead. You are right, there is a reason for everything and lessons to be learned. Maybe there is a lesson that God wants you to learn. Like maybe to accept yourself for who you are? Or perhaps you will learn who your true friends are (ex, people who won't judge you by the size of your head). I don't know, I'm not God. But I do know that you shouldn't get so sad over what mean people say. Try not to worry about your appearance and instead concentrate on other things in life like maybe a hobby or trying to make a difference in the world for the better =]

Big fore head problem help?

Its just a forehead. I'm sure people only notice it because you do. Just be confident, no one really looks at foreheads anyways.

You could start wearing hats with rims, like baseball hats if you're really desperate.

Big fore head problem help?

You think of all the good things that God gave you, a strong body, a kind heart, a good family thank God for the blessings; and thank Him for your faults so you don't become too vain.

Be happy for who and what you are.. if the mirror makes you sad stop looking at it... and be confident in you!

Big fore head problem help?

I'm sorry you feel that way, but just because you have a big forehead it doesn't mean you're ugly. Don't listen to the people who tease you about it, and if they continue, just tell them to stop and ask them how they would feel if they were in your place. You know, Tyra Banks was teased for her big forehead when she was younger, and look at her now; she's a supermodel! Just keep doing what you're doing (getting fit and staying that way) and try to clear up your skin problems. I'm not sure what a down-cut hair cut is, but you could grow your hair out long and experiment. Go see a hair stylist and ask what they can do to help you. :) Good luck!

Big points - 10 points.

How do I get this type of hair done?BIG POINTS!?

You have to have thick straight hair that is not dry. Its all in the cut and hair products used to mold a look. Matrix makes a product called Dirty Trix (something like that) and a clay that are wonderful for shaping and molding a style.

You should go to the long hair forum. They are great and most people there have waist to ankle length hair. Here is the link:

http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/

On the "Mane" Forum there there is a sticky at the top. Inside it has a list of tons of long hair styles.

www.dressytresses.com has long hair styles.

I'm 13 years old and i have pubic hair but I'm not that big right now, will i have a growt

Don't worry. In a year or two everything will have started to develop normally.

I'm 13 years old and i have pubic hair but I'm not that big right now, will i have a growth spur ?

whats the point of mentioning the pubes? i don't know if you will because you haven't told us how tall you are, or if you've already had a growth spurt. get a clue.

I'm 13 years old and i have pubic hair but I'm not that big right now, will i have a growth spur ?

Yes you will you are still young and growing.

I'm 13 years old and i have pubic hair but I'm not that big right now, will i have a growth spur ?

yeah, sure. in about a year u'll have tons of it. im 14 and have so much of it that im even thinking about shaving it off

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

He thinks it is a game, when he does it he has this big smile on his face and I tell no hitting/pulling hair it hurts.

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

Not being rude, but obviously your method of reprimand isn't working. He'll continue to do it until he sees that not only is he not getting the response he wants, the puinishment is not worth it.But to answer your ?, he will stop it when you teach him otherwise...how long that takes is up to oyu.

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

if you ignore it long enough he will stop and he will drop the habit

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

You must have conveyed that it was a game initially, as with the first poster, you will need to be firmer in your reprimand and it will dawn on him, just be firm!

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

My daughter had a hair pulling problem too. One day i got tired of it and did it really hard to her. She started crying and i told her "see how it feels, its not nice" and she stopped. Hope this helps.

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

It will take as long as you allow it. It's not up to him--it's up to you.

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

Some kids never grow out of it even with parents teaching them not to. Some never even have that stage. If he find it funny or think its a game then that's something you will have to work harder than most to fix.

He will do it as long as you let him. By telling him no and leaving it at that he thinks he's getting away with it. A child not even 2 doesn't always get "yes" and "no". Say "no" and put him in time out or take a toy. Or scream/cry like it really hurt. Some kids get that. For something like this I would almost recommend spanking. I am somewhat against it, but now would be a good time. As long as its open handed on the covered butt.

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

I haven't read any other answers, but if anyof them say spank him or hit him back or pull his hair PLEASE don't listen to them. You are doing good with the timeouts... My daughter used to do that (shes 22months) and timeouts eventually made her stop. The phase only lasted about 1 month %26amp; a half, maybe 2 months... Just be consistent w/your timeouts and he will eventually get the picture. Spanking him, hitting him back, or pulling his hair back will only make him think "Well if mommy can hit/pull hair, then that must mean it is OK to do it!" That is not the message you want to send! Good luck to you!

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

You need to react to negative behavior with negative emotion. You have to frown and make your voice deeper, you can't smile or laugh or blow it off. You just have to keep repeating this. They learn things by repetition so it may take some time to learn it, especially if some people or kids are laughing at the behavior because that will reinforce it.

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

Smack his hand and tell him NO he is old enough to know better. Put him in the corner if he doesn't stop.

How long will it take for a 21 month old to stop hitting/pulling hair? He thinks it is a game.?

My 16 month old daughter is going thru this stage as we speak , I am tryin everything with her to stop, If she see her aunt or uncles fake cryin when she does this to them or even me , she will stop and start to cry herself and say sorry and give you a huge. But then 10 min later she back to doing it again!!! I don't know what to do!!! if you have any great suggestion please let me know as well!!!

Hair question please!!!!??????

i get really dry frizzy hair what shampoo and conditioner can i use or any other thing to stop from getting big and ugly any tips advice please????

Hair question please!!!!??????

Most shampoos and conditioners work pretty much the same. Instead of just changing shampoo and conditioner, try these suggestions from different angles.

Hair question please!!!!??????

I use panteen pro-v and it is in a clear blue bottle and it also makes my hair not frizzy and it makes my hair not gresy too :]

Hair question please!!!!??????

sunsilk or frizzese help

Hair question please!!!!??????

put olive oil on your hair for the whole night.

Hair question please!!!!??????

you should use either tressemme or selson blue.

tressemme has a special one for frizziez and it rly does work. they also have a gel that if you apply a small amount to where you need it, it becomes unfrizzed.

selson blue also lessens the dry hair and it also stops dandruff from flying through your hair.

Hair question please!!!!??????

Well I use Herbal Essences. It works really well on my hair! Maybe you should go to a hair place and get it straightened. Or you could buy a straightener, and straighten it before you go to bed. Then in the morning straighten it again.

Hair question please!!!!??????

I have the same problem and I found the perfect and CHEAP product! I get Ion conditioner and shampoo (for me the straightening stuff) and Ion glossing mist! I works great and makes my hair soft and much less frizzy!! Hope this helps.

Hair question please!!!!??????

i use sunsilk shampoo and conditioner(for dry frizzy hair)its in a pink bottle-after that i use the sunsilk 24 hour creme-if your hair still looks like you've been electrocuted (lol) try Tresemme ultra light no frizz shine spray, this works really well!hope i helpd %26lt;3

Hair question please!!!!??????

Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner do a fabulous job of maintaining shine and moisture in hair. In order to control frizz, be sure to first use liberal amounts of conditioner in hair (and do not wash it all out), and you can either use a spray-in conditioner on top, such as Matrix, or use a light mousse to control frizz (Dove makes some great products), when hair is damp. Use a large styling brush and blow-dry hair on cool or light setting. I advise going to your personal hair-stylist (as they know most about your hair, other than you of course), and asking them which products to use. Trust me, these people really know what they're talking about, and depending on your hair type, thickness, etc., they will find the best products for you to use! Taking care of your hair is paramount. So before washing your hair, apply extra-virgin olive oil and leave it in for 30 minutes (or the night before, slip on a shower cap, and get a good night's sleep); this will help provide that extra moisture and shine in the long-run, and you (and others) will be able to see a noticeable difference in two months or less! Also be sure to up your water intake! Hope that helps :)

Hair question please!!!!??????

Treseme shampoo and conditioner PLUS Panteen pro-v restorative(its red). when you shamppo your hair rinse out right after you lather then when you condition mix the panteen pro-v prestoratives with the treseme conditioner let the conditioners absorb into your hair finish all other shower business and rinse your hair last. after you rinse your hair with the warm water if you want to risk being cold rinse it in ice cold water

Hair question please!!!!??????

I'm really sorry to tell you, but there really is no one conditioner and shampoo that works for everyone. it depends on where you live, how much humidity there is in your environment, whether your hair has had time to adapt to your environment if you had just moved there or something, and many many other factors. maybe you can find a person, a friend maybe, who has had the similar history and found a solution. if not, my best advice is to go for things that are not filled with chemicals. don't use a shampoo or conditioner that has unnesesary artificial ingredients added. try going for something that has natural ingredients. maybe Herbal Essences or something like that. oils and juices from plants are probably the best thing to treat your hair with becuase they will do less of a damage to your hair than that with man-made chemicals. another reason that your hair is frizzy is maybe becuase it is getting burned by the sun. just like you skin gets burned, your hair is also effected. buy a hair sun-protection conditioner or lotion. see how this works. and, as a last resort, if absolutely nothing else works, get some hair mousse or spray. i must warn you, hair spray and mousse is not very good for you. the chemicals that make the plastic container that holds the spray or mousse contains somehting called "thalates". with daily or continuous use, this substance has been chemically proven to result sterility, or not being able to conceive offspring. while the spray or mousse is in the container, this chemical is absorbed from the container and into the products, and when used, it goes into your body. in addition to this, there are thousands, maybe millions, of other things that are in the artificial substance itself. maybe the other reason that your hair is frizzy is because you use conditoner and shampoo obsesively. all the chemicals could really add up and ruin your hair. try not putting shamppo and conditioner for a week or so and see what happens. if its the same, try it for one more week. if it's still the same, it's time for you to go try another shampoo/conditioner, this one with more natural ingredients in it. hope this advice helps, good luck.

Hair dressers please answer?

I reallly want to become a hair dresser. If you dont mind answering, how much do you make, do you make more money if you work in a big salon, or selfowned. %26amp; anything else about hairdressing. THanks

Hair dressers please answer?

Well your best bet is to join a chain salon until you can establish a cliental. Most chains are going to pay you $7-10 an hour, you get to keep your tips and can also make comission. That way you can get more customers and still make sure you get a check every week to 2 weeks. If you just pay for a rental station on go on your own you have to find your own cliental. Good luck

Hair dressers please answer?

You make an ok money if you work at a salon but you make a pretty good amount of money if you own your own salon. There's not really all that much you need to know. Just find a school to go to so you can get your license and go work at a local place till you can get your own salon and make sure you bring your clients with you :).

Hair extenstions.. women only answer please?

i have been considering getting hair extensions put in, and was wondering what they were like. how well do they stay in? do they look and feel real? all opinions would help, and anyone who has had experience with them would be a big help too. thanks!

Hair extenstions.. women only answer please?

Yes they look real, and mine typically stay in for 3-6 months. I have mine sewed in and you can wash right with them and style how you normally would. I normally change mine every 3 months but it all depends on how fast your hair grows. Definitely feels real but you want to double check the texture and feel and make sure it's to your liking, most beauty supply places or salons will let you touch before you buy or they have a opened pack laying around.

Hair extenstions.. women only answer please?

I've never had them but I know people who have and they loved it

Hair extenstions.. women only answer please?

No one can really answer your Q because all of that depends where you buy them and how much you would be willing to pay and how long you want them and what type of extentions you want... so,hmm....GOOD LUCK! xBx

Hair extenstions.. women only answer please?

hair extentions yea my friend wears hair extentions and she looks hot

so will you :)

Hair extenstions.. women only answer please?

They look and feel real for awhile, but after about a month you can see where they start and you can feel them close to your roots. It is an expensive and long process to get them put in, so I would recommend doing it for a special occasion when it would be worth the cost. If you fall in love with them, you can get them redone.

Hair extenstions.. women only answer please?

I don't have the permanent kind they are too expensive to maintain and cause damage to your hair so I bought clip in extensions. I got a whole set for $150 and no one can tell they are not my real hair. I can wash them, dry them, curl them, straighten them, cut them and color them to match my hair. I ordered ones that already matched and I got a set for my daughter who is trying to let her hair grow out. She loves them. You can ge them at the beauty supply store for a little less, but you have to cut them apart yourself, buy the clips and sew them on. I dance in them all night and the never fall out or come loose. I got mine from www. wigs.com. I got mine on sale the brand was easiextend pro. Make sure they are real human hair, if they are synthetic you can't use any kind if irons on them or wash them and they look fake.

Hair extenstions.. women only answer please?

I had my business partner bond/fuse extensions to my hair and loved it! The extensions were real human hair and so I was able to style, clean, and dry the hair like I would normally. The color matched perfectly. The ONLY drawbacks were: the extension hair was a little more coarse than my hair and since pieces are individually bonded it took over 5 hours. They were simple to take out and none of my natural hair came out or was damaged.

Makeup and hair tips??

Our school has a big dance coming up in two weeks, but I need things to do to my makeup. Maybe even hair tips too. Okay.

I have a light complexion [sp?]

Green eyes

and semi-oval shaped eyes.

My hair is naturally curly [very lightly, almost a fluffy wave], It's a tad shorter than shoulder length. its brown, and I normally just put curl enhancing mousse in it. I was thinking I could put small rollers all over my head, and just dry it out, and get nice bouncy curls. But I'm not sure yet. Any ideas you know about? I'd love to hear them!

[oh, and I'm pretty much on a budget, so I can't go out and buy tons of fancy stuff!!]

Makeup and hair tips??

Add a few drops of honey to your shampoo the night before your dance, spread throughout hair, then rinse VERY thoroughly. It will make your hair shiny and soft =D

Many people assume it makes the hair sticky and disgusting, but it doesn't. To be completely safe, use some more shampoo after rinsing the original mixture out, just in case you missed some.

Have fun!

Makeup and hair tips??

OK. I'm not the expert. But if you have a good complexion work with it. Get foundation that is just a tad darker than your original tone. Eye shadow should be light not heavy. Only use eye liner if you absolute need it. As for hair. Just do what you think best only you know what looks good on you.

Makeup and hair tips??

just wear your hair in the bouncy curls then if you have bangs clip them up on the top of your head. it will look really cute. it sounds ugly but its not. or if you don't have bangs then put your regular curly hair in a ponytail or half ponytail bun. for makeup, use a sparkly eye shadow. wear regular foundation if you need it and don't wear to much mascara. good luck

Makeup and hair tips??

For a fair complexion I would go with dark blue or gold eye liner, lots of blush, and pinkish lip gloss. I think you should straighten your hair. If you don't have a hair straightner then target or wal-mart is a good place to get one. Don't go cheaper then 30$ on them though or they won't work. Wet 2 Straights are pretty good. Good Luck!

Makeup and hair tips??

well you don't have to go out and spend a lot of money on makeup just to look pretty the boy that is dancing with you should not like you for how you look he should like you for who you are not for who you can be or what you look like. and no don't put small rollers on your head please.!!!!!!!!

Has anyone tried the Jessica Simpson "Hair-Do" hair extensions? How do they clip in and ac

Mine dont stay clipped into my hair...any other suggestions of what I can do to make them stay without noticing a big pump that sticks out in the back?

Has anyone tried the Jessica Simpson "Hair-Do" hair extensions? How do they clip in and actually stay?

yep i have one, that is the only kind that stays in my hair. i part my hair and pin up the hair that will go above the first row. Then where i am going to place the clip i pull my hair out so that it slips to more hair and so on and so on. then let the hair down that was clipped above and style it how i was it. best of luck!!

Has anyone tried the Jessica Simpson "Hair-Do" hair extensions? How do they clip in and actually stay?

Yes. I am currently using it. Well the best advice I can give you is one play around with it.

First pin down your hair with bobby-pins. Don't pin your hair in a bun though, if you do it in a bun it will look like you have something bulging in the back.

What I do is I divide my hair in half or however they showed u, Then the hair at the bottom split it into three sections and pin them...(this makes smaller, flatter buns) once all the pins and hair are secured, place the hair piece over and clip them.

How it stays is if you place the clips over the small, flatten buns. The buns in what is holding the top part of the clip..

hope this helps. I hope u get what i'm saying though lol

Waving hair?

okay.

i want to wave my hair.

but my hair is pretty curly.

but i dont like it that way.

that is why i want it to have big waves.

Pimple help and hair help!?

First problem- my cousin has a big zit on her face. She needs clear skin my Tuesday (don't ask why Tuesday, it's just important) so any fast-acting solutions that you know work, not just things you have tried?!

Second problem- I'm straightening her hair before she leaves Tuesday and she wants to be able to go a few days without washing it (lol she'll still take a shower don't worry she won't smell) but anywayyyy do you know any ways to keep hair looking fresh and new (I know that putting powder on your hair absorbs grease, but any other tips)

thankssssssss a bunch! =]

Pimple help and hair help!?

toothpaste (paste) on the zit (not the gel kind) it dries it up.

any blemishe remover too works. i have garnier (sp?) and it works fast.

baby powder does work, then just blowdry it out. other than that... not much. but she can put it up into a nice up-do for the later days, and that hides the grease as well.

Pimple help and hair help!?

Put honey on the pimple, and then put a band-aid over it. Trust me it will be gone FAST.

for her hair. go buy a product, it's like a gel type, you put it on her hair. Brush it. then it's straight. no need for straightner. you can find it at Pathmark, or target.

I'm desperate...I need hair help!?

Okay, my hair is currently dyed a dark brown and I really want to get my hair color to what Fergie's hair color is. It isn't completely blonde, its like a brownish-blonde. Would I achieve this by dyeing it blonde or by going to get a lot of blonde highlights or what? I need help and fast.

And how on earth do I make the big change from dark brown to blonde? Will it be a huge change do you think?

I'm desperate...I need hair help!?

go to a professional that works in a salon because there is no way that ur gonna be able to go from dk brown to blonde in one take. let the professionals do their work they might have to add a booster....;

I'm desperate...I need hair help!?

Use a nice reliable deep honey-blonde hair dye,

apply it all over your head,

follow the directions.

If it's a color you like, then keep it like that,

but I would add a few highlights and lowlights around the face.

I'm desperate...I need hair help!?

U NEED TO GO TO A SALON. BECAUSE IT IS A BIG CHANGE AND UR JUST GONNA MESS UP UR HAIR. IF ITS DYED BROWN THEN U HAVE TO BLEACH IT OR LIGHTEN IT AND ALL THOSE HIGHLIGHTS AND STUFF THAT U WANT IS NOT GONNA COME OUT HOW U WANT IT BECAUSE UR HAIR IS DYED A DARKER COLOR. AND IF U TRY IT URSELF U'LL PROBABLY WIND UP WITH A FUNNY COLOR THAT U DONT WANT SO GO TO A PRO. I'VE DONE ALOT TO MY HAIR AND I WANTED IT LIGHTER TO BUT I AM NOT MESSING WITH THAT BLONDE, ITS BETTER TO GO TO A PRO.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

I want to grow my hair fast.. before the school year begins I want it until the middle of my back.. its lenght now is 1 inch below my shoulder.. I have a beautiful curly hair and I love it so please don't advice me to straighten it.. because its not kinky it has big curls and it make me hard to figure out wether its growing or not because its curly so its hard.. so please help! oh and please don't advice me to have hair extentions because thats out of my pocket's reach!

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

don't wash 'em

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

Take pre-natal vitamins.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

You won't be able to get it quite that long in just a few months. You can speed it up somewhat, though, by taking lots of vitamins and taking good care of it. -yk

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

If your hair doesn't grow that fast then you're just plain out of luck.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

There is no other way besides extensions. All that hair growth shampoo is bogus. It makes your hair fall out. Maybe it keeps growing down there in the shower drain.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

get some exstinions then when your hair grows where you want it take them out

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

Waiting unfortunately is the only answer. You have beautiful hair and you should think yourself lucky. If you love it then be happy with it and play about with it until it reaches the length you want. The more you think about the length the less it will seem to grow. Get a regular trim to avoid split ends ruining your patience and effort and use a decent shampoo and conditioner to keep it healthy. That i am afraid is all you can do.

Good Luck.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

i have curly hair that i have been trying to grow to. What i use right now that works really good but you have to use it by itself its called parnevu t-tree growth creme. its a really good product before my senior prom i wanted my hair shoulder length and i used that and i helped in like 4 months before my prom so you can try that. you can find it din your cvs stores or like walmart. if you cant find that tea tree is a really good product to try to grow your hair. so look for shampoos or leave in products that can help your hair grow alittle faster.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

Nothing short of a prenatal vitamin will make hair grow any faster. No, products that claim to make hair grow faster don't work, and neither will taking regular vitamins. Vitamins will make the hair healthier, but it won't grow any faster. I would look into the possible side-effects (and there are some) of prenatal vitamins before you consider taking them for hair growth though.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

You can use a growth aide called Surge 14 Hair Revitalizer. I used it, along with Wild Growth Oil, and saw amazing results. You may also want to wear protective styling(buns, braids) until you get to your goal length.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

My hair dresser trims just alittle bit off my ends two days before the full moon, and the first time I was like yeah right. But it works only if you get it trimmed just alittle bit two days before the full moon. If you hair grows fast it will get after it and be the length or close to it. My hair is slow growing and now it grows anywhere from a inch to a inch and half a month. Hope this works for you, try it out don't have anything to lose. This is something that us Texas gals do here to have that long hair.

How can I make my hair longer, fast in just 1 or 2 months..?

Henna can be used once a month to thicken hair. If you don't want the reddish tint of henna, try using neutral henna. It's a great conditioner and also has amla, brahmi and jatamansi, all rich in protein. . Heat coconut oil and apply on the scalp, the night before you shampoo. The last idea I have would be to take coconut oil and massage your head with it every night.

Hair question for professionals....?

Hello, I am a 33 y/o mom. I have long-ish (bottom of my shoulder blades) hair and it is straight for the most part with little natural wave. The wave is not even so it looks bad when I just leave it natural...... and it gets frizzy.

I like to wear it up as well as down (I work %26amp; have kids). What is an easy, stylish cut to maintain? Also, I was wondering if I got a wave or perm with BIG curlers to give it body, would it still get frizzy when left to dry on its own? Thanks in advance!!!

Hair question for professionals....?

I wouldn't recommend a perm because if you already have a frizz problem, a perm will most likely look frizzy as well. I am more concerned that you might not be using good enough products to manage your hair.

I really like Silky Sexy Hair shampoo and conditioner because it leaves the hair silky and frizz-free without weighing it down like a lot of silky shampoos do. It smells amazing too! You can buy it at any salon that sells sexy hair products. Also, when you go to get your hair cut, I would ask the stylist what products she recommends. It's important to realize that a good shampoo and conditioner is the most important first step to taking care of your hair, it makes your life so much easier!

As for the cut, I would cut it to be sitting on your shoulders with some longer layers. Angle it around your face, and add some side swept bangs. The reason this cut works so well is because the length encourages the ends to flip, which means you can wash your hair, add some gel or mouse, scrunch it, and go! It's still going to look like you put some effort into styling it even when you barely did anything at all. The side swept bangs make the hair look more like you have some type of style rather than just long hair hanging there. Also, when your hair is up, having bangs creates a polished chic look.

I really think this cut would work great for you because it will encourage your wave to behave, it's easy to maintain, and it looks stylish when worn either up or down. Here's a picture for you to look at, and if you like it, print it to take to your stylist. http://www.hairfinder.com/celebritypictu...

Good Luck!

Hair question for professionals....?

Do not perm it, its just adding more trouble. I would suggest a good trim off the length, about two inches, then some nice long layers to soften and bounce some of your natural wave in a nicer pattern. Adding the layers will take some of the weight off your natural curl and help it form better.

To control frizz and add shine, use a nice glossing creme. You can also try using some curl enhancing products.

HAIR STRAIGHTNER BuRN!!!!??

i was laying in bed with one of my friends and we were playing a game on my cell phone and my other friend said kate, don't roll over, the staightner is there but of course both of us didn't listen b/c we were to busy watching this game soo my friend went into the bathroom to brush her hair b4 she straightned it and me and my friend started to laugh and i rolled over and burnt my leg really bad like the sides (of the straigtner... it was laying sideways) of it burned my leg soo there are like two lines?? and well is it gonna scar... i put aloe on it but i really don't want it to scar b/c it is really big..... (oh and btw if it helps the straightner was at 450 degrees)

HAIR STRAIGHTNER BuRN!!!!??

I have done the exact same thing and I burned my knees quite badly. Chances are, it will bubble up a bit, and the water blister will pop. Just continue to put cream, preferably one with an aloe base. This will sooth the area and keep it from becoming infected. Put a band-aid on it and continue to moniter the wound for the next couple of days. You will have a scar, but it will most-likely fade in a couple of years like mine did.

HAIR STRAIGHTNER BuRN!!!!??

its gunna be smelly but put vinigar on the spot it will help with the pain and reliveve the reddness and also you can do it as often as you would like it accually feels makes the burn feel a lot better... i didn't believe it myslef untill i got a BAD sunburn and i tried it and it relieved most of the pain.. good luck

HAIR STRAIGHTNER BuRN!!!!??

ouch kaitlin! when did u do it?

How can I make my bright orange roots the same color as the rest of my hair???? HELP!!!!?

I'm the biggest retard for trying to do my hair by myself at home. I "tried" to highlight it yesterday myself with an Herbal Essence kit and it turned out terribly with bright yellowy chunks all over my head. Then today I dyed it a nuetral blonde. The color came out great everywhere but my roots and my highlights which ended up turning into a bright orange!! So I went back out and bought a dark brown shade, hoping to cover the orange roots. Now it's even worse! my roots are a darker orange while the rest of my hair is almost black! Please help!! What can I do to fix this??? Dye it again??? I really would like it to be a dark blonde if possible, with my roots being the same color as the rest of my hair. Any help would be very much appriciated!!!! Thanks!!!!

How can I make my bright orange roots the same color as the rest of my hair???? HELP!!!!?

The first thing you need to do is stop putting more stuff on your hair. You need to go to a professional who has done longer than a day or two and preferably a color specialist. Everything that is already on your hair, including your own natural hair color contributes to the color you put on. The only way you are going to get dark blond is to remove the color and tone. Do not attempt this at home. Very bad idea. I charge double and sometimes more for corrective color and the more you do to it at home, the harder it's going to be for a colorist to fix it. Most reputable salons give complimentary consultations so call a salon in your area with a good reputation and make an appointment for a consultation. They will look at your hair, assess it's condition, and discuss with you what can be done and how much it will cost. You can decide by the consultation if you trust the stylist enough to set up an appt. for the corrective service. If you don't, say "thanks, I'll check my schedule and call later for an appt." and move on to the next salon for another free consultation. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions and discuss your budget openly. Good luck.

How can I make my bright orange roots the same color as the rest of my hair???? HELP!!!!?

You need to use the sunsilk colour shine system vibrant burgundy avail it on stores!

How can I make my bright orange roots the same color as the rest of my hair???? HELP!!!!?

I would recommend going to a professional colorist and having them strip all the color out of your hair and then reapplying the color you want. My mother always told me to never dye my hair myself...that advice has worked for me for 40 years...no matter how broke I am I will not break down and do it myself. Consider this a lesson well learned! Poor thing...

How can I make my bright orange roots the same color as the rest of my hair???? HELP!!!!?

The brand "Nice N Easy" is supposed to have that color-matching formula, so that should make it look a bit better. If that doesn't work, you may have to go to a hair salon. One color is really not that much, probably about forty dollars, depending on where you go. And from now on, let someone else do the highlighting at home kits. Then you'll be able to tell if your hair is done or not.

How can I make my bright orange roots the same color as the rest of my hair???? HELP!!!!?

i know its hard but u have to wait a while to die your hair cuz you could permantly ruin your hair. i know this happened to me but wait a week or 2 then get the Loreal 2 in 1 kit that is natural for your hair. it is regular dye and highlights to put on later. it worked for me i hope for u 2

How can I make my bright orange roots the same color as the rest of my hair???? HELP!!!!?

hi,

please don't put anything else on your hair. once your hair has grabbed a color to a black stage, its time for a professional to fix all this. if your new growth (roots) is orange, it has already been lifted in color... you risk your hair breaking right there if you put anything else on it that has "lift" in it. ie, color stripper or bleach.

for what you paid for all these products, you could have had your hair colored professionally. please, make an appointment!

good luck!

How can I make my bright orange roots the same color as the rest of my hair???? HELP!!!!?

quit messing with your hair ..... or it will fall out! give it time to grow in %26amp; next time get it done by a professional - or at least go to Sally's and buy your color and they will help you figure out how to fix it.......

What's the difference between a big round brush and a smaller one?

I've always used a flat iron to straighten my hair and I wanted to try blow drying with a round brush. What's the difference between the big one and the small ones? Do the smaller ones make more waves in your hair?

What's the difference between a big round brush and a smaller one?

Different sizes and kinds of brushes produce different effects..This should be all you need to know:

Paddle hairbrush-

Paddle brushes are flat and wide. They help in brushing long hair and for styling them. Brushing your hair with paddle brush also gives you a slight scalp massage. These brushes are used to style layers, as they do not add volume to layers.

Cushion Style-

This type of brush is best suited for medium-length hair, which is generally smooth and straight. This brush gives you a massage effect. Styles, which are made out of this brush, are box shaped bob, the classic graduated cut and a disconnected outline.

Sculpting Brushes-

This kind of brush is best suited for backcombing and it adds volume to short and textured styles. Such brushes are generally used for short cuts, round layers and textured outlines.

Thermal Round Brush-

Thermal round brushes are available in different sizes such as jumbo sized, large medium and small. Small round brush acts as a roller to get curls on your hair when used with the heat of a blow dryer. Large round brush smoothen your hair. The length of your hair decides which type of brush to be used so that it can give a different style to your hair.

Thermal Flat Brush -

This brush acts like a flat iron, which smoothness and straightens your hair without any kind of bend. Never use brush on wet hair. It is advisable to use wide-toothed comb. When ever you backcomb your hair start combing your hair in small section.

What's the difference between a big round brush and a smaller one?

The bigger ones give your hair more body.

What's the difference between a big round brush and a smaller one?

Small ones make little curls. Big ones make it easy to flare your hair out or curl it under.

What's the difference between a big round brush and a smaller one?

well a round brush is a .... round brush and i dont get what your saying when ya say samll you have all kind of sizes for round brushs

What's the difference between a big round brush and a smaller one?

uh, the size of them?

What's the difference between a big round brush and a smaller one?

really... The size of the bend in your hair. short hair smaller brush, longer hair bigger brush

What's the difference between a big round brush and a smaller one?

the size??

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

It's so disgusting i mean its not black or anything it is the same as my hair color..........but it annoys me so much..................Any ideas on how i can get rid of it...........And i know if i like wax it or something, it will grow back weirdly right..................

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

it's normal, both my sisters have it - you can wax it off or use Nair.

DO NOT shave it, it will grow back thicker.

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

no, shave it

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

ugh yeah i have the same problem. I hate it.

But I just shave it off.

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

Shave it!

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

It's normal! I would just leave it alone. Shaving, etc will just encourage to grow more and may come back darker and coarse. We all have it and ignore it.

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

yeah, i have this too. i've shaved it, and it grows back worse .. not prickly, but it just gets really long if i don't shave it again. it's a lifelong process, haha. it sucks

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

This is very common, just shave it off, it will grow back the same-no worse.

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

no, thats not un-normal, and waxing it is better then shaving it.

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

no every girl gets it just shave it off!!

I have hair on my big toe and i'm a girl.........Is this unnormal.....?

umm almost every girl has the same problem what i do is shave it. and so do all my friends

Hair cut..?

i wanna get my hair cut...

side part and bangs to about my nose

i have a long face and KINDA a big forhead.

would it look good?

sorry i dont like giving pics out on the internet,

Hair cut..?

it would REALLY look good because of the fact that your big forehead would flow in with the side bangs. if you didnt have a big forehead it wouldnt look good as for your long face it would all match in

Hair cut..?

i have a somewhat big forehead too and if you get side bangs it'll hide away abit... so i think you should get it..

Hair cut..?

big forehead, get bangs that cover it, that's what i do and it hides it a lot.

What make your hair more straight?

My hair is a little wavy. what shampoo or anything that can make my hair more straight. Its like every morning when i wake up it looks like i curled. but when i brush it, it has big bumps -_-;; helpp !!

What make your hair more straight?

Hairepy has a straightning line and so does I think John Frieda....Of course you could just try a hair straightner....

What make your hair more straight?

The Chi really works try it

What make your hair more straight?

YOU COULD PUT A TEXTURIZER IN YOUR HAIR THAT WOULD HELP.

What make your hair more straight?

You can go to a salon and have it straightened permanently. It lasts about six months before your hair starts growing out enough that its noticable. I had mine straightened for $130. Usually takes about four to five hours for them to straighten it well, and you have to go through alot of weird things being put into your hair to soak. Anyways, it works well, and your hair turns out sleek and shiny.

Curls Hair for prom !!!!! plz help?

for my prom i really want to have curl hair, and i want to do it my self cos i no exactly how i want it, but no matter what i do i cant keep big curls in for longer than 10 minutes and smaller curls in for like an hour, ive tried hairspray before and after curling , and one have an ideas? plz help!!!

Curls Hair for prom !!!!! plz help?

don't wash your hair the night before or that day

Curls Hair for prom !!!!! plz help?

try a stronger hairspray - like the old lady aquanet stuff - that stuff could hold small animals to a wall! or else try a curl serum before using the curling iron. if that doesn't work, you'll have to be very direct with a salon and have them do it. they've got the amazing expensive hair stuff ....

Curls Hair for prom !!!!! plz help?

I also have wanted that style.... here's wat you do....

if you have a really big curling iron and thermal heat spray

before you curl your hair , wash it with shampoo and conditioner. let it dry naturally then before you curl it spray a little bt of hair spray and thermal spray then while you have a curling iron in your hair, spray it with the thermal stuff and DON"T spray the hair spray on it after otherwise the hair spray will have the little scraglies showing and dont play withituntil after yor hair is cooled otherwise h curl will fall out!

have fun at prom girlfriend!!!!

Looking into doing a makeover. (Skin, Hair, Clothes) NON expensive?

Hair- My hair is REALLY thick. I straighten it all the time. I have 2 layers. I am worried to cut them out because the short layer is like shoulders so that would make my hair look poofy. I cant afford fancy salon shampoo. I use herbal essenses dangerously straight shampoo and non frizzy conditioner. I use frizzease products and they dont help much. I dont like hairspray because it is really sticky and gross. I cant get hair relaxes or perms because my mom is convinced it causes brain damage. I cant afford highlights but I may be able to use sun in.

Skin- I cant buy any more products so if you could give me advice on how to use the ones i have that would be good. I have clean and clear advantage acne cleanser, clean and clear persa gel 10, clean and clear blemish clearing scrub, Neutrogena clear pore mask and neutrogena rapid clear. Help!!! obsety, facial hair.............please ....help?

Okay I am 17 in 3 months I will be 18. I am 5'2 feet tall and weigh about 185. I was 140 about a year ago and i seriously got out of control with all the eating and stuff and I basicly never work out or eat healthy. Well now it's getting depressing I want to lose weight i have a big gut.. I mean have good curves but i need to lose my stomatch (get it flat) and get my legs and arms toned. It is so depressing looking at pretty bodied girls I mean I dont want to be super skinny I wana be toned and have a flat belly. But here is the problem... I went to my old doctor about 3 months ago, I asked her why i had lil fuzzy facial hair under my chin and my face...... not man hair or nothing like that but fuzzy stuff and not so dark but you can see it and ugh I hate it...... well she told me it was due to my obesity is that true? and once i lose weight will I also lose the facial hair..ugh this really sucks I hate it what can I do to lose weight and the hair :(

Help!!! obsety,facial hair.............please ....help?

well your doctor is probably right. :/ BUT little fuzzie hair is nothing to be upset about.. really it isn't. everyone! has hair on their bodies. now.. you can try the losing weight thing too see if that decreases hair but im not suree if it work. so if it doesn't you can also try thiss..

you can just shave once over the fuzzie spot with a regular razor. IT WONT GROW BACK darker or any of the rumors you may hear.. and plus if it did, just shave it off again. another thing is space it out. you should only have to shave it off once a month.. which will make it not grow back.

first -now losing weight. drink lots of water. water is good for you and flushes out the bad stuff in your body. i got hooked on water about a year ago and i might even drink a little too much :) lol. no such thing in my opinon but you know.

second - jog around every other day. because if you do it every day thats not too good for your muscles. plus startt out slow since you mentioned your not very active at all.

third - you want a flat tummmy? DO 20 CRUNCHES ( or as much as you can but at least 20 ) everyday! once when you wake up, then right before you go to bed.

fourth - watch what you eat. there are many online sites that you can get a printable version of a foood pyramid and that should help. just google food pyramid.

fifth - have faith in yourself. YOU WONT LOSE WEIGHT, if you don't really want too.. as in - don't start a diet for a week then stop. if you want it, you can do it. believe in yourself. have a friend do it with you. a parent, or sibling.

well i hope this helped. good luck! i hope you achieve your goal of losing weight. :)

e-mail me if you have any other questions!

The advice to shave is right. Other methods of hair removal tend to create more problems than they solve.

I want to cut my hair short. My husband is freaking out. I Should I do it?

My hair is a little below my ears now. I want a short pixie like hair cut. My face is round and Im not fat but I kida have big cheeks. Should I just go for it or le it grow.

I want to cut my hair short. My husband is freaking out. I Should I do it?

you should at least try it! a few of my friends hubby's freaked when they wanted to cut their hair short, and then they always end up liking it.....they always like the sassy sexy vibe the wives have after getting the cut....it is just hair, it comes back!

I want to cut my hair short. My husband is freaking out. I Should I do it?

Without seeing you it is hard to tell. However, usually people are attracted to someone for a reason and a dramatic change scares them. It is only hair after all, and it will grow back.

I want to cut my hair short. My husband is freaking out. I Should I do it?

you don't have to cut it short, I mean you could cut it shorter and see if he wouldn't mind having it shorter

I want to cut my hair short. My husband is freaking out. I Should I do it?

Don't cut it pixie... ask your hairdresser to create a layered cut with the longest being your current length. That creates the effect of a pixie cut without sacraficing length. That way it compliments your face and your husband doesn't have a heart attack! :D

I want to cut my hair short. My husband is freaking out. I Should I do it?

i really wouldnt. i did it once and it was nice while it lasted but then i got bored on of not being able to do any hairstyles with it. i tryed to grow it out and that looked HORRIBLE when i was trying to grow it out and it took ages. i suggest if you want to cut it short do it a bit at a time

like first go to shoulder length then bottom of the neck then just below the chin and then finnaly how u want it to

but i really wouldnt recomend it

Good Luck Anyways

I think it would be cute! However, people with skinny long faces usually look best with shorter hair, but its your hair girl! Im sure you will rock it! :)

Well, dont go super short, like Natalie Portman, but this is a very cute cut! and it looks like a pixie, but sort of different.

If you do end up doing this cut, than great! cause im sure it'll look amazing :)

(Just print out the picture and show your stylist)

I want to cut my hair short. My husband is freaking out. I Should I do it?

Screw what your husband wants. It's YOUR hair, get whatever cut/style you want. If it turns out being something you like, awesome! If it turns out less than favorable, it'll grow back! Go for it!
